Ascania – Emerald

‘Emerald’ is a sharp and luminous new release by the Polish trance producer Ascania filled with an outpouring of emotions.

The original mix starts off with a rolling bass that prepares the listeners for take-off, leading to the slow rise of a melody that is filled with anticipation, accompanied by the lead synth. The breakdown is moved forward by the melancholic sound of the strings, in harmonious conversation with a metallic melody that gently paves the way for the uplift. Following a brake that is guaranteed to tense up the dancefloor, the kick drum drops back in, causing a feet-pumping frenzy.

The Ikerya Project Remix gives the track a more acidic sound, as well as a mellow and relaxing melody in the breakdown. The Max Solar & Next Beat Remix, on the other hand, is an even more emotional take, adding an orchestral sound in the breakdown that provides the background for a soft piano melody.
